In Theory: Aesthetics of Science

In Theory: Aesthetics of Science

Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

From Leonardo da Vinci to Juan Geuer, explore how the work of artists can bring together art, science and philosophy to investigate the order and chaos in the world around us.

Join us at the Ottawa Art Gallery for a roundtable discussion lead by Professor Manuel Báez on pre-selected readings from Italo Calvino's novel Mr. Palomar in connection with  Carbon + Light: Juan Geuer's Luminous Precision.

No pre-reading is required. The text will be read and discussed as a group during the event.

This discussion will be lead in English.

Registration is required. Space is limited. Click here to register for this event on Eventbrite.
